Reinhart Michalke

Reinhart Michalke, born in 1971, has practised as a lawyer since 2001 and as an accredited specialist for criminal law ('Fachanwalt für Strafrecht') since 2004.

Born and raised in Munich, Michalke studied political sciences and law in Bamberg and Passau. During his studies he began to specialize in tax law.

After completing his training in Munich, he initially worked as a lawyer for a business law firm. In 2002 he became an associate at Werner Leitner's firm until 2007.

In 2007 he joined a Munich law firm as a partner before he and Werner Leitner founded their own LEITNER & PARTNER in late 2011.

Reinhart Michalke has many years of forensic experience as a defence lawyer in all areas of criminal law. He benefits from his experience today when advising in white collar, corporate crime and criminal tax law.

Reinhart Michalke advises companies and individuals. He has defended local and international clients in enforcement actions and investigations brought about by law enforcement agencies.

He trains specialists for criminal law at the Academy of the German Bar Association (DeutscheAnwaltAkademie). He is an appointed guest lecturer on trainee lawyer courses at the Munich chamber of lawyers (Rechtsanwaltskammer München) and the Bavarian State Ministry of Justice (Bayerisches Staatsministerium der Justiz).

Reinhart Michalke is a member of the leading law associations: WisteV, a corporate criminal law association, DeutscherAnwaltVerein, the German bar association, Arbeitsgemeinschaft Strafrecht and Arbeitsgemeinschaft Informationstechnologie, the criminal law and IT law work groups, the Münchener Anwaltverein, Munich bar association and Rechtsanwaltskammer München, the Munich chamber of lawyers.
